Having obtained a BSc (Hons) degree and worked on square rigged ships and superyachts for 5 years Charles took a degree in Law at the University of the West of England.
Charles is instructed by the major P&I Clubs and private shipping and trade companies. He has comprehensive experience of litigation (High Court and arbitration) in a wide variety of shipping and trade matters including: Charterparty disputes, Bills of Lading, International Commodity Trade, Commercial Agents, ship build, repair and yacht disputes.
Charles also has significant non-contentious experience in matters such as sale and purchase, storage and employment contracts.
