Based full-time in the Geneva office is Sarah Hunt, an Australian lawyer, who has spent the last five years specialising in the law of the International Civil Service and advising international organisation staff associations and staff unions. Her success rate in the last session was 80% of claims brought, with all claimants awarded fees. Sarah has represented international civil servants in employment matters involving unfair dismissal, major fraud, defamation, harassment, conflict of laws and UN pension disputes. She established the Centre for Accountability of International Organisations, www.caio-ch.org, which has carried out Public International Law research. Additional services include advice for staff associations or staff unions and in-house seminars on international civil service specialist law topics. |
